With her 71st birthday just days away, Kris Jenner is everywhere online this week. A video of her family dressed as her is going viral, fake pregnancy photos are fooling some fans, and a reality TV clip has brought back an old question: does Kris have a favourite daughter?
Kris Jenner turns 71 on Thursday, November 5. As usual, the internet has started the party early. Here is what everyone is talking about.
The birthday clip everyone is sharing
On October 29, X user @Toluwase_x shared a video of Kris reacting to a room full of family members dressed exactly like her. The caption said Kourtney Kardashian looked the most like her, but that North West “took her out for a second.” The post has passed 2.9 million views and about 40,000 likes.

The video shows Kris laughing and clearly loving it as her daughters walk in wearing her famous short dark bob, black outfits and big accessories.

Longtime fans may recognise the moment. The details match the family’s “dress up as your best Kris” dinner from November 2022, held the night before Kris turned 67. At that party, Kourtney copied Kris’s cameo in Ariana Grande’s “Thank U, Next” music video, even carrying an old-school video camera. North dressed as what Kim called a “daily Kris” in all black. Kim wore a green sequin dress from a family Christmas card, Kylie went as Kris from 1989 in a tight black dress and sunglasses, and Khloé copied a viral flower-petal outfit. Whether the clip is old footage or something new, fans are treating it like fresh content all over again.
The replies were just as fun as the video.
“It’s today I realized that Khloé looks like Kris when Kris was younger,” wrote one user.
Another joked that North “went and got special wrinkles” for her costume.
One of the most liked replies said: “This family can’t even celebrate a birthday without holding auditions for the next CEO.”
That last joke landed because it is half true. Kris has managed her children’s careers for nearly two decades, and the “momager” title is now part of pop culture.
Last year, for her 70th, Kris went much bigger. She threw a James Bond-themed party in Beverly Hills, with guests including Beyoncé, Mariah Carey and Prince Harry and Meghan, and a performance from Bruno Mars. Fans are now waiting to see how she tops that this year.
No, Kris Jenner is not pregnant
At the same time, a very different post was making the rounds. Accounts including @TJkings01 and @makeugreedy shared two beach photos that seem to show Kris in a black bikini and fringed cover-up with a large baby bump. The caption called her “stunning” and asked: “Isn’t she too old? Congratulations to her though.”
There is no truth to it. Kris has not announced a pregnancy, and no trusted news outlet has reported one. The photos look like they were made with AI or heavily edited.

There is also simple biology. Kris is 70, and most women go through menopause decades before that age. Getting pregnant naturally at 70 is close to impossible.
Some people still took the post seriously. One reply called it “a miracle,” and another asked if her grandkids were “not enough for her.” One user even defended Kris, saying she “has the money for it” and can do what she wants.

Most people saw through it, though. “She’s probably been in menopause for years. This is probably AI,” one person wrote. Another put it more bluntly: “Her eggs jumped ship two decades ago.” Someone else played along with a Bible joke, saying she was “changing her name to Sarah.”
Kris is not the only star hit by fake bump photos this year. In 2026, similar AI-made images claimed that Kylie Jenner was expecting with Timothée Chalamet, and that Zendaya was pregnant with Tom Holland’s baby. Neither was true. The lesson is simple: if a huge celebrity pregnancy only shows up on one random account, it is probably fake.
The phone call that has fans talking about favourites
The third Kris story of the week is less fun. A clip from the family’s reality show, The Kardashians, shows Kris trying to reach her daughters by phone. When Kim and Khloé don’t pick up, she doesn’t think to call Kourtney until her partner, Corey Gamble, reminds her.
X user @AjMachalaa shared the moment and said Kris’s face “says it all.” The post claimed Kris has “always treated Kourtney like the outsider” and that the family plays favourites “in the open.”
The replies were quick to pick a side. “Kim is her favorite,” wrote one person. The original poster replied that it was “just because she brings the most money.”
It is only a short clip, and reality TV is edited for drama. But it hit a nerve because fans have talked about this for years. Kourtney, the eldest, has often seemed to stand a little apart from the family business. She has said she wants a slower, more private life, and she has clashed with her sisters on camera more than once.
She also has a rocky history with Corey. In 2019, on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Corey suggested that Kourtney and Scott Disick should spank their daughter Penelope. Kourtney was not happy, and said her kids would never be left alone with him. Reports say the two have never been close since, which makes it a little awkward that Corey is the one who remembered to call her.
The Kardashians’ eighth season premiered on Hulu on October 8, 2026, so there is likely more family drama coming.
Why Kris always wins
A family tribute, a fake pregnancy and a favouritism fight all in one week might sound like bad press. For Kris Jenner, it is just another week. Love her or roll your eyes at her, people can’t stop talking about her, and that has always been the secret to her success.
All eyes now turn to November 5, and to whatever the family has planned for her 71st.
